Her trip to Liverpool in 1976 started with a visit her to her friends at the football club set up by her colleagues in the Liverpool Tory Party:

"The Thatcher visit began at Liverpool Football Ground, Anfield, where she received a gold necklace with a Liver bird on the pendant from the club chairman Mr John Smith."

WE had a fancy dress party in primary school, some time mid-late 80's. One of the lads turned up as Hitler, nobody batted an eyelid. A photo 'surfaced' a few years ago on a facebook group, there's a couple of boxers, a vampire, a nurse, etc. Stood centre back, smirking, pulling a full nazi salute was 'Hitler', one of the biggest kopites in the year. Just saying
