It's even funnier when next to the Chelsea beat Bristol City 8-0 scoreline.
4-2 is a thrashing and 8-0 is normal.

there was a similarity in the last derby game when Dom went through from an offside position and was brought down. The offside meant the penalty wasn't given and was wiped from history, just like Pickford's perfectly legal but solid challenge on VD was struck from the records. It has been a given ever since I started playing football a billion years ago that if you are going to a 1 on 1 challenge with a keeper, expect to get cleared out by that keeper. It's just what happens.
