It’s all PR to swing the narrative back in their favour and change the talking points among their fanbase. There’s no way they’d have leaked the news about a new manager if they’d won the derby.

I’d love it if they hounded Salah out. Don’t care what they say, you can’t easily replace a winger who gets you 20 goals a season. As they’re finding with Diaz Nunez Gakpo Jota, you can spend huge money but a fancy name doesn’t guarantee the same sort of return they got from Mane Firmino Salah for so long.

As long as they don’t unearth another Suarez from nowhere they’re stuck between keeping a declining Salah or cashing in on him and accepting they probably won’t replace his goals.

Sarah and Mane were like having two functioning brains in a team directing the rest of them. If Salah goes, as I suspect he will, they'll need to get very lucky to replace him. 17 PL goals and 9 assists in a 'rubbish' season.

Another FANTASTIC day to be an Evertonian. If someone had said to me 10 days ago (or whilst watching the debacle at Chelsea) that with three games to go we would be safe, and Liverpool's season would be in tatters, I'd have laughed my head off!

MOTD downplaying that Salah-Klopp incident as a 'spat' in favour of talking up a non-incident over Gakpo not putting the ball in the net when the GK spun the ball out while 'injured'.

Problem is, some club will pay £150m for Salah, and they’ll reinvest. They’ve had some ridiculous fees for players.
