Also worth remembering that there are multiple examples of the working class willfully refusing to work in support of their ethics & beliefs.
The cotton workers during the American Civil War who refused to work American cotton, and the Scottish Rolls Royce workers who refused to repair parts for the Pinochet regime for example.

Thing is that there are loads of players going to that league and it's a bit of a non story (big pay day at the end of their career).

Big red make such a point of being Socialist FC that they are trying to hog the headlines.

Despite singing "F the Tories" at every opportunity, Anfield is probably more than half Tory on any given match day, they were founded by a Tory, they purposely managed the decline of the area around the ground to expand on the cheap and their fan behaviour abroad resulted in bans for other clubs as well as the recent events in Paris where no other games across a range of sports appears to have had any issues. They seem to think they are bastions of moral superiority.

I'm more annoyed that they are getting so much money for their two midfielders who are way past it.
