As well as the myth that they don’t spend any money at all, It’s the narrative that these players are immediately weeeerrrrrlllllddddd class as soon as they sign for them that is just nutty - have they not learned from Igor Biscan or Bert Aquilani?

I mean, I know Demonic Salbutamol is a very good player and I’m sure he will do well for the mighty pedz, but he’s not on Barca, Madrid or Citys shopping list for a reason.

Always a chance I suppose, new country and league etc, but I do like him as a player - he’s a bit of everything in a midfielder - gets stuck in and can tackle, good passer and can score goals.

Naturally, I hope he flops!
