I posted a few weeks back about one of their followers, a joiner who'd come to ours to repair some snags. A gentle bit of banter between us ground to a halt when I mentioned Heysel. In short, unbelievably I had to explain to him what went on with him saying he'd heard about Heysel but not what it was about.
Selective memory me thinks or the result of nearly 40 years of media whitewashing.

There is actually a Heysel thread on RAWK I found. Before you get carried away thinking they've grown a collective conscience however, not only is it sparsely populated to say the least, it is also located, not in the main LFC area as you would expect, but in fact is in the 'Non LFC, other football' area. Nothing to do with them, clearly. Tragic accident. Could have happened to anyone...
I even saw one guy on Facebook actually claiming that their fans were in fact trying to HELP the situation caused by the stadium, and it could have been much worse had it not been for them. Honestly! You couldn't make it up.

Gonna try to put into words after reading this article and comments without getting banned.
It is further proof that they will go to any length to shamelessly deny and deflect their complete and utter fault.
Like a perpetual liar who believes their own after so long they cling to the barely visible threads of what they have all coincidentally label “circumstances surrounding the incidents” like the massive cult they are.
Brainwashed into the belief that it wasn't 100% their fault. It was though and the fact things kept happening with them to proves they are a certain kind of person.
They are a certain kind of person , unique in their disability , lacking any self awareness.

Their is a likely a medical term for when perpetrators became totally obsessed and take on the victim role of their own indiscretions. (e.g DARVO)
when I say they I mean 99% of them , I wont say all of them as that would make me as bad as them.

They are made up for us. Chuffed we stayed up! Well, that is what they keep telling me anyway. Then, they drop in things like "But you should have had points deducted for cheating" and there it is, the hatred, the mask falls.
My fav one has been that our ground is still not ready? Well, it ain't meant to be for another 15 months ha ha
They can give out as much fake comments as they like. I know that most of them wanted us gone and it hurts them that we are still here with our boss new stadium on the go. I am going to enjoy the hurting even more as I know they will have to support Man Utd in the cup final and I hope City hammer them. Then the Champions league and if City win that then they will explode and go into 6 times mode.
Bitter? Not me, I just hate the RS and want them to suffer.

Juventus fans made their feelings known in 05 about all that in friendship and memory nonsense. That vermin club actually trying to turn that moment into something they wanted praise for ‘look how classy we are as a club’. The Juve fans gave that self serving ‘look at us’ narcissistic sickening gesture the response it deserved.
Maybe one day someone at the club will actually say sorry.
