Nice to see a team not just give up against them. Majority of PL teams would have just stopped playing after Nunez’s went in and been happy to just give them the points. Mind you half the PL strikers can’t hit an open net even when given a few goes against that lot so it was refreshing to see a team just take chance against them like the top players they are not looking like Sunday league pub players like every PL striker does against them

This was the same back 4 that in 18/19 and 19/20 were going game after game barely conceding a goal and had fans calling all of them the best in the world on their position. Now Carragher is calling for new defenders as they ‘can’t defend’? If anything Alexander Arnold Gomez and Robertson should all be better as they’re in their primes now and more experienced.
They’re the only club I know where world players go from world class to nothing to world class again in the space of half a season.
