ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The rhetoric I have been hearing over the last couple of weeks of how they have never really spent money and FSG need to be forced out of the club. How can these people (some of them work for actual newspapers) be taken seriously? They spent nearly 100million on a single player in the summer. It really is a cult! No other club gets the constant stream of excuses made for them that Liverpool do. So nice to see them struggling this season.

Actually heard a commentator yesterday saying exactly that. Referring to Shipman's habit of baling out after seven years in office. Quoting the defensive frailties and misfiring front line, he offered up the possibility of him not seeing out his time at the pit.
Also it shouldn't go unnoticed that slowly voices in the football media are beginning to be less than complimentary towards all things Anfield.
