The glory of winning. Getting to finals is difficult. Winning them is also difficult.

The coincidence is that in every one of the 15 trophies we’ve won since last winning the league, we’ve got reached the final (or qualified for the one off game) in all of them.

We’ve never won a trophy we didn’t get to the final of, as far as I know.

This is a nothing trophy, we all know that. But it’s held every year and until that’s not the case every club in Europe would love to be in it, and if you’re in it you want to win it.

I’d far rather it had been a walk in the park, and especially rather it hadn’t gone to extra time, but I’ll take a win on penalties after a gruelling game over losing it.
