I was about to post exactly that. A distinct absence of younger lads and lasses in the shots of the crowd shown on MOTD.
Mentioned this to an RS earlier and he admitted that the tickets change hands so many times the younger element can't afford them. There was also a shot of a group of tourists doing everything but watching the game.

I'm guessing it's along the lines of that the rs did well and though he's disappointed, he congratulates an excellent City team. Also due to the clash with the anniversary of Hillsborough, he thinks the parade is in poor taste.
