One thing I've noticed is that Liverpool fans always tend to value winning the CL over the league whereas City fans value the league over the CL, with some of them booing the CL anthem. Why is this the case? Is it more to do with the political leanings of these clubs? Liverpool probably have more leftist remainers as their supporters and City have more brexiteer fans, but I'm not very sure.

I can't believe some people here are now wetting themselves over City's run in, now that they can even afford to draw one. Newcastle at home 'a tough ask'? No, it really, really isn't. The RS only best them by one goal, but that was away and it shows their wobbling form more than any rampant Geordie powerhouse. And West Ham? Wolves? They both have their flip flops on already.

City have absolutely got this.

Ah yes the mythical anfield atmosphere, it's as contrived and fake as you get. I've said it on here before, they are the most bizarre group of supporters in the world. There are countless clubs in the world whose supporters engage in questionable behaviour. Newcastle have they're fair share of dobbies, but most are pretty decent, same with United, City, Celtic and Rangers, plus plenty of other supporters. What makes the RS unique is their levels of fakeness , the contrived flag waving, the walking around wearing RS gear on a Monday morning in the supermarket when they've never been a game in your life, the fake scouse accents, the disappearing when the RS do bad, singing Munich songs at a wake, attempting to engage in football related banter when you know sweet F all about football, the inability to engage in football related banter, every other clubs supporters can. You can usually have a decent conversation with supporters of other clubs, not with the RS, their lack of humility is far worse than any other teams.
