ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

One of the most successful clubs in world football and they carry on like they are some plucky underdog who've suddenly started winning tings after years in League One.

Why I'll always have a soft spot for Citeh fans who've genuinely put up with nothing but crap for decades whilst Utd won everything under Taggart.

Would love us to do a Citeh one day and see how they would react to being the ones not having the trophy parades around the city / being top dogs. Think they would give up the sport.
If we ‘do a city’ and get bought by a sportswashing state, I will be done with Everton. I won’t even hesitate. Why the [Poor language removed] would anyone want that. I’d rather be in the championship.

They're a-holes but it's a council thing, is it not? If they're expecting 500,000 people to descend on the city, surely they need to plan for it? It's a public safety exercise. I know over here the parades are planned months in advance because of the logistics of it.
I think you’re missing the joke here my friend

I mean, they’re absolutely right. Uefa and fifa ticketing is an absolute farce. All sponsors and influencers. No wealthy Arab will be left without a ticket. This is not an event of the people.

But even if it was 50-50 allocation and a tenner a head, kopites would find something to whinge about.
If they do o not like it then they should have had the moral fortitude to break away and form their own super-league; but no, they decided to cave in to UEFA's outrageous demands.

You're probably right they need to protect buildings from attacks. Paramedics ready when they knock crap out of each other

Regards City I have no bitterness towards there old school fans have had to put up with there neighbours winning everything while there old club was in decline.
I honestly believe after several years of success many of there old school supporters secretly yearn for the old days when they could identify more for the club they grew up with not the monstrosity it has become.
Many Liverpool fans mostly the ones who don't go near the pit feel that saying you are a Liverpudlian makes them some sort of superior being when actually it just shows them up as the complete opposite.
Brian Labone made a remark that one Evertonian is worth 20 Liverpudlians and that remark has never rung truer than it does today and I have nothing but admiration for the young blues of today.
They have had to take so much flack and are a credit to there dad's,mum's, uncles and grandads.
Take a bow you deserve it

Klopp "If you don't get a ticket, I don't want to invite people to Paris but this time it's big enough and I did this last time for Basel in Switzerland and it was 'oops'.

"But I think Paris is big enough to go there without a ticket and have a good time, behave yourself but be in the best possible mood."

What could possibly go wrong?

Did they complain when this season’s CL started and the venue and ticket allocation was known? No they couldn’t be arsed, but now they’ve reached the final……

No probable because they were too busy defending their scab club for trying to destroy football. ‘You’re just bitter youse didn’t get invited YNWA’ seemed to be the common refrain rather than any of them actually condemning it.
