What you've done is take my argument, used for years here, about the r/s 'scouseness' being diluted by it's global wool base that the local ones try to be extra scouse and become 'telly scousers' like Bishop, even to the point of writing in a 'scouse' accent.

let it be known that if Jamie Carragher ever tries to claim any sort of allegiance to this football club he should be met with nothing but absolute contempt. one of the most divisive and abhorrent footballing people to ever come out of the city, i would call him a rat but i’m not sure i’ve ever seen a rat spit in the face of a child
