We frustrated City at home for long periods. We kept United out. We didn’t give Newcastle a sniff. Yes they’re a very good team but there’s no reason w scant go and make things very difficult for them.

Ideal scenario is points in the bag for us and we’ve physically battered them in advance of Villarreal. Title challenge over, quad gone, players injured or exhausted, pressure on remaining games, Klopp rattled. Could be glorious.

This. I was discussing the day with a mate during the week. There's pics of us all before the game. We were in front of the media boxes so could see what was being shown.on grandstand, blokes around us had radios. We'd heard there'd been deaths reported by 3.30 ish.
I took photos when we got back to the cars, radios on, word spread very quickly,no celebrations around us of getting to Wembley.
Back in Liverpool waiting in the bars we were due to meet mates in and it dragged on and on.
About 10.30 some reds started dripping in, then my mates finally showed up about 11.
We were with them then, the next day up at the Cathedral, laying scarves at 10am. We've been with them ever since.
There will be some young blue bellends that use Hillsborougb as a taunt and they should be shouted down by older blues.
But worst of all is it being used by r/s as a sort of 'pity us, hard done to' to create a smokescreen for their constant and consistent sh thead behaviour.
Every blue that I know has never, and wouldn't, use H'boro as a taunt, but I've had it thrown in my face too many times. Pissing on the memorial, setting fire to it etc etc with no evidence. (I've still got pics on my phone of the 6 on Ruperts tower).
Horrible, horrible cult.

More realistically I could make half a case for us getting a draw - on a weekend where City have whittled down Liverpool's GD advantage over City that'd mean Liverpool would require two slip ups from City, as I'm sure they'll rattle in a lot more goals than Liverpool in what remains of this season.

They'll be relying on being 2 up by 60 minutes otherwise they'll be nervous.
