ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I’m not saying Liverpool are doping but to the posters that say it couldn’t be possible - in the Australian Football League (that’s AFL eggball) there was a massive scandal where one team was found guilty of doping involving 34 players.

However it’s perfectly reasonable to assume that they get far less injuries because they’ve recruited well and have good training methods. I think it also helps they play the same style every game so the body gets used to playing that way.

I think it’s a little surprising that they played all their Christmas games without rotating their squad, especially when they’re up that many points in the league.

Will be interesting to see in a few years how many of their players get injured from over exertion or have to retire early. That Shaqiri is defo on some form of gear, he's starting to pick up loads of mystery injuries that he never got elsewhere. Add to the fact that he looks like your stereotypical two telly carrying gym head.

Wouldn't it be absolutely darling if someone from within the club blew the whistle on Klopp just a couple of weeks from them being crowned champions?

Like proper Deep Throat style, with irrefutable evidence resulting in an embarrassing scandal which meant that that the FA had to do an unprecedented investigation into the clubs activities...

Oh wait... In order for this to happen, that would mean that there exists a kopite with a conscience who is willing to place his integrity over being crowned 'Der best team in der universe!'... Apologies, such a creature does not exist. Hell would freeze over before that happens!

The fact remains however that if they're at it, every team is at it.

I don't even think VAR is bent, it just amplifies the opportunity for big clubs to get decisions that has existed since time immemorial.

So unconscious bias, pliant media and a poor standard of opposition this season, yes. But if they're doped, you'll probably have to accept our players are too.

Lance Armstrong defo didnt dope, how could somebody escape detection for so many years without getting caught?

In cycling's case literally everybody was at it. There was 0 incentive for them to police the situation properly. Hence you got nonsense rules like the 50% red blood cell count, which essentially legalised blood vector doping.

Evidence being that they took an alternative view to the norm. I would suspect any reds on here are winding people up not being apologists
Ah but the manner in which they take that supposed alternative view is always the same conforming to a tick list by which they all self identify.. ie the passive aggressive statements.. the forensic defence of anti RS statements etc etc. Theyre not even making any effort now coming on this thread acting like strutting defensive cocky-watchmen.. "show me the evidence... show me how..." etc etc. Winding us up... nah..theres no fun in them stating the bleedin obvious.

Inappropriate Language
To be fair they're an incredible team. CL last season and now the title this season. They've completed the set haven't they?

Remind me of Hencyckes Bayern from 2013. Mix of physical strength with speed and technical ability.

Singing 'you're going to win [Poor language removed] all' at the end of our nil nil result in March.... bloody hell how that is biting us back. Really did get ahead of ourselves.

Neville deserves a talking to as well. In the summer stating with certainty that Utd will next win a title before Liverpool. Lost the plot him. He's going to get a lot of grief once they clinch it.

I just had a horrible thought: is it possible they win the league at Goodison...or win it the week before and the PL demands a guard of honour for their choice as champions at Goodison?

Think the City fans should be a more nervous wreck about that. RS leading by 19 points come their game and a draw will seal it at Etihad. Leicester would need to be trailing by more than 19 too. Game is in early April so big possibility.
