ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They are owned by a Trump supporting right wing billionaire.

Yet they continue to peddle the lie, see banners on Kop, that they are the manifestation of proletarian virtue, and ideological purity.

Amnesia FC= Heysel, furloughing all minimum wage staff, trying to form SCAB league, I could go on.

I forgot to mention the destruction of long standing working class housing-community in Anfield.

Points on the board, a point ahead if Liverpool win their game in hand, City to host them, Liverpool facing Arsenal and United, difficult vists to Villa, S'ton even Newcastle.

Defo not as cut and dried as a few weeks back, but still very difficult for them to lose the title from here.

"Very difficult", sadly not anymore....this is likely a straight up Cup Final when they meet in the league now, and all the pressure is on City....klopp is still playing up the underdog tag.....had City signed a striker last summer this would be done and dusted long ago...

But jeez, getting more and more worried of Liverpool winning the league and us getting relegated the same season...the ultimate low point

I think I'll put my faith in ther team and manager that's won the title 3 times in the last 4 seasons over the team that win the asterisk title.

Gerrard manages villa you know? That wont be tough for them…

Their firepower compared to city’s gives them the edge IMO.

Adding Diaz and Jota has given them an extra edge.
City might rue spending 100m on Grealish and not getting a striker in.

Signing Alvarez is all well and good but they needed a striker ready now.

Hope you’re right. Klopp has shown he can wring 90+ point seasons out of their lot. They seem to have a lack of injuries and any time I’ve watched them, plenty of luck/decisions going their way.

Personally, I’m banking on ww3 kicking off before May, just to be sure ?

...and yet they're still trying to catch City.

In fairness to them, they went almost a whole season with Alexander Arnold, Gomez and van Dijk unavailable in defence, and still waltzed to an easy second place.

They do have a suspiciously high energy level for this stage of the season, every season, but you'd hope if anything untoward was going on then somebody would be onto it by now.

I personally just think it's all about their scouting: whilst we look for outrageously priced flops from top six sides who inevitably go on to produce nothing at all for us , they go and look for athletes with pace and power who can last a season.

I think it’s all about Klopp. Which is great because they’ll sink without trace in two years when he goes.

What’s beautiful is that in Klopp’s time, pep’s city have stood in their way of trophies leaving them a legacy of being perennial nearly men. Best Liverpool team in history™️ - one league title.
