ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

its not. Yet. Leics beat City next week and it’s game on when a fatigued RS go to Leics on Boxing Day. Leics could be 2 points behind after that game. The RS still have to go to City, which they’ll defo lose and come here. Pressure makes strange things happen as we’ve seen several times involving them. Its certainly not over. Critical 2 weeks coming up, It could be all over on Boxing Day though.

The mental gymnastics here are very funny.

Other than the strains of travel, will they be fatigued particularly?

With them effectively forfeiting the league cup, they’re only playing one more game than Leicester, and that game will be against some no marks where the squad players are going to play. If they lose the semi, they definitely rest the big guns for a pointless 3rd place match too.

Couldn't have asked for a better run of fixtures this month all things considered.

Could’ve been different if Dunc had been in charge for the derby and had us come out the way we did against Chelsea.
