Yeah but they had a tough mid week match so they might not quite be on top form which Palace might be able to take advantage of. Lol, will be 3-0 in the first half after Klopp has passed the inhalers round again.

Agree Pickford and Alisson, Alisson is a long way ahead.

Its probably 2 or 3 Everton players in a joint 11. Which is about right, considering there was what 10 points between the teams last season, and we are level in points this season with probably a harder start.

Not sure about the harder start - that's just you being you mate but... agree with the rest. Godfrey and van divvy would be some partnership. Henderson is just crap. Shin roller the other night and all of a sudden he's the new gerrard.

You can't expect a response from me without a bit of bait. In all seriousness though, outside of Chelsea for them, and maybe Brighton for us, neither have had particularly difficult starts.

I don't really get their arrogance on this. I saw Carragher saying no Everton player would get into Liverpool's team. Why were we above them until the 3/4 point of last season then? Or why haven't they won any of the last 3 derbies etc. It seems a bit ridiculous. To be fair though, those sort of questions never really bring out the best in discussions. I remember Kendall saying only 2 of theirs would get into our team a while back, and while we were above them at the time it was a bit of a ridiculous comment as well.

Being objective, the fairest thing you can say is Liverpool probably have 4 or 5 players who are unquestionably in and then you've got 5 or 6 positions which there's a debate to be had. I really don't think though most football fans would think Henderson was like miles better than Doucoure or Allan who's got multiple caps for Brazil. Or that like Gomes is miles better than Godfrey, or Mina. Just feels miles out to me.

Allisson, Arnold, VVD, Salah and Fabinho are all certain starters, but there is a debate about the rest.

They always seem to want to take it one step further though. Their latest one is definitely that Henderson is world class. It's almost like they're incapable of just being happy in having the world class players they have, they have to engineer people to be working class who patently aren't just because they like the argument. It's a bit of an odd mentality.

You do realise I agreed with you right? Apart from the start, Chelsea are arguably the best side in the country. I'm a realist. Godfrey starts, so does Digne and I'd have Doucoure and DCL in as well. Gray is playing better than mane but if you had to pick a side to save your life in one match you'd still pick Mane. The only players of theirs that scare me are Salah and Fabinho to be honest. I'd have Fabinho here in a heartbeat. The keeper is decent as well.

Godfrey and Mina are not dislodging VVD and Matip in a combined 11, a CB pair that got 97 and 99 points consecutively and won a CL and they have the best defensive record in the league after 4 games.

Combined 11's are just stupid anyway i always find, just cause unnecessary arguments, doing them after 4 games in is even more laughably stupid, it should be at end of the season when they should be done, and with them not having any CBs last year then that is the only way Mina and Godfrey make a 20-21 Merseyside combined 11 as the starting CB pair.

Do this seasons combined 11 when the season ends.

I do not believe liverpool played any games without centre backs last year,; it would be a strange formation if so.
