I would prefer them to get through the CL tonight so it gives more games. Anything to make them throw points away in the league. Going out tonight opens things up as well for FA Cup which wouldn't be great for us. We have to look at the overall picture here and not just wish them out tonight

You are right. But. Their lead In the League is a big one, get through tonight and the ’Top 4 League’ doesn’t kick back off until mid feb. The way they’re going they could rest players in the League and go all out for Europe! I’d rather they go out tonight into the Europa, playing Thurs/Sunday. We were saying about the extra games in Europe last season and they ended up winning the damn thing, it’d be bad enough them winning the League but doing that double? The state the big European clubs are in, it could happen. That chance needs to be extinguished as soon as.
