Interesting that Southgate doesnt play the best right back in the world at RB. To me he is a pretty good winger but lacks the burst of speed top class wingers have. He could probably move into Henderson role in a year or two.

One thing he is not is a good full back. McNeil had him all over the shop a few weeks ago.

Hes given away two penalties at nil nil this season, the officials turn a blind eye to all his defensive mistakes, should of seen red at least 5 times last season not one red given , hes on the level of patrick van aanholt .

Remember Kyle Edmund of the tennis world? Of course you do. He had a bit of a run of form for six months not so long back and naturally the media started doing a few stories about him. Right on cue it emerged he was a lifelong RS fan stating that he had grown up watching Rush Barnes and Co. He wasn't born when they were around and him being born in South Africa. Anyway were is he now?

I think you could actually make a case that if you did a combined 11 we might actually have 6 players in it.

I know some of these could be argued and that's based on both teams playing 4-3-3. I think Allan is better than Gomes but he is competing with Fabinho whereas Gomes is competing with Henderson. On current form they could argue Robertson is edging Digne but we could say the same about Pickford over Allison. If we can keep players fit it might be us that knocks them out the top 4

Please can I have some of what you're on? In no universe is Doucoure or Gomes getting ahead of Fabinho, Thiago and Henderson. Criticise him all you want, but he is a good player and captain, something that's sorely lacking at ours.

Godfrey is not better than Van Dijk or Gomez. Or Matip. We have to be honest here.

Only one I really agree with is Calvert-Lewin playing through the medal ahead of Firminho.

I like Jordan, but come on, he's not better than Alisson. It only harms Jordan to compare the two. He's a very good goalkeeper don't get me wrong, and he seems to have improved massively since we bought him, but I'm not picking him over Alisson.

And no, we're not getting Top 4, and certainly not pushing them out of it. It's been 4 games. We're still miles off even Leicester. If we can get Europa League or even Europa Conference I'd be delighted. We're in no way ready for CL football yet. Getting into one of the other comps would at least allow us a chance of a trophy and get us into the rhythm of 2/3 games a week.
