ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Oh dear, oh dear.

Hang on tho, the legacy fans are quick to tell the universe that Netspend FC never actually spend any money on players, so why are they so upset?
Not happy that they waited till the last day to give captain Hendo his extension (could have done it anytime) they reckon it's papering over the cracks and now the ladyboy is injured they want signings and they want them NOW!!

I said to @Saint Domingo a few days ago that they weren't getting the rub of the green on injuries anymore. Not last season and not this season...with Milner, Robertson and now Firmino out. We can expect a lot more of this as they have a lot of players late 20s / early 30s. That's a lot of players with a lot of football in their legs.

They need bodies in today, and the Kopites on social media are already kicking off with FSG.

That wont be a happy ship this season.

I've seen quite a few saying if they're not ANTI-FSG they are not Liverpool fans.

Klopps the sticking plaster there. You get the sense hes doing the same role Wenger did at Arsenal under American owners.

Getting well remunerated for it too. Still, you'd have to be completely thick not to realise this is Klopp managing decline at Liverpool now.

He does that anyway mate, must have killed him with Saint Virgil and his knee.

Wouldn't be surprised if the firmino injury isnt really an injury - prob just to get him out of travelling for the Brazil games.

He will be like Lazarus, and back before they predict/tell everyone.
I think the decision was already made on that one via the red zone countries issue.

There might be an exaggeration in order to force the owners to cough upcash for a last minute signing. I dout it though. I think he really will be struggling to get back on the pitch for a month or two. He's having further assessments on that hamstring tear today.

Perhaps why Edwards is off. If he was even half decent as a DOF he was probably saying ‘I’m not renewing this lot Jurgen, sell up and refresh the team, by the way we’re keeping the young players’. Jurgen’s probably laughed in his face and forced the club into a me vs him situation. They’re keeping his team together on mega money for one last shot at glory at the expense of blocking routes into the first team (not that any of their kids are any good anyway).

He’s let Wijnaldum and Can out the door on a free, signed Thiago and Keita for big money but doesn’t play them, and now has Konate sat on his bench (no doubt whilst he gets on board with the special juice programme like Fabinho and Robertson did when they first joined). From a balance sheet perspective this is a timebomb. In two seasons time half of the first 11 will have dropped in value massively and will still be getting paid mega wages.
His successor looks set to be Julian Ward who's specialty has been to create links with other clubs to loan out Liverpool youngsters. That might suggest LFC are set to try to pull in a lot of raw and unproven talent and then farm them out for fees - and cherry pick back any that can put pressure on the first team squad. Monetising potential talent like that is what many elite clubs have tried to do. So you have that going on but and Klopp at the top who - apart from Elliott - has pretty much discarded the crop of youngsters who came through 2 seasons ago and is going for experience and a conservative approach.

And theres every chance he has another wap out this season. Hes already started with his ridiculous whining alongside OGS about physicality.

There is always a pattern to their seasons, start well, dip then end well. You can see sides like Chelsea and City will end stronger as they do, and United probably will when their signings settle. You get the sense they will be a bit spooked by Tottenhams great start.

Their effort, against 10 men at the weekend was pitiful.

AKA doing an Arsenal under Wenger.

It was. It was pitiful. A proper pop gun attack.

That's why we had the Kopite media relectantly fawning over the 'fantastic' defensive strength of Chelsea.
