ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

This is marvelous....

Horrenderson "just edges" Paul Scholes in this feller's world.

Imagine what it's like being in that head.

Premier league great is a hilarious exaggeration for Jordan Henderson. He’s a great the same way Tim Sherwood is. He shouldn’t even be an international footballer, his touch is awful and his passing is abysmal. He’s not good enough for this level as has been proven time after time at tournaments. The media keep pushing for his inclusion every time though, they’ll never learn.

Comparisons to Paul Scholes are laughable. I’m sure Barcelona midfielders don’t grow up watching videos of Jordan Henderson booting people and hitting hopeful punts over the top.

Xavi credits Henderson with his mastery of la pausa.

Has anyone else noticed they have used Paul Scholes 2009-13 which the period he retired and came back if memory serves me correctly and would be aged 35-39, whereas they have Henderson through his prime years. What a really bizarre comparison. Take someone in their late 30'sand compare it to someone n their prime. Henderson is also probably miles ahead of Steven Gerrard was 35+ (who for reference played 1 season getting found out in MLS) but we all know who was the substantially better midfield player.

Did Scholes only start playing in 2009? I assume if you adjusted that range back to cover his whole career rather than just the period after he turned THIRTY-FIVE (although probably that data isn't available) then the charts would look a bit different.

They have a simulation? Is this just in case the RS get relegated. Just trot out this table instead of the real one and all the cult will still be happy, oblivious to the real world.

Our (!!!) Echo reporter had them run a simulation. Rubbish apart from the almost inconceivable thought of winning at City.

Another way of putting it is Hendo (Captain my Captain) at his peak is about as good as a 35 year old who was always partial to a Mickey-D after training.
