ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Please get rid of these money grabbing barstewards. not so much the teams. as they add an awful lot to the league, but the American ownership, which at the end of the day for them is supposed to be a money investment rather than a sporting adventure. I don't blame Chelsea (my son in law is a fan and hates the idea) or Man City as they are going along on the coattails so as not to be left behind. The yanks have bitten off a lot more than they can chew on this one imo. The European leagues will be a lot more competitive if these 12 or 15 (who knows who the extra 3 might be?) leave, and I hope that UEFA have the balls to kick them all out, a question remains- what happens to the rest of the " franchise" - the under 23's, youth etc ?
Outlaw leagues typically cause escape clauses from all contracts to be activated. Happened in the seventies.

Carraghter doesn't come across well compared to Gary N

I think the difference is that Neville actually cares.

Carraghher does lots of nice things for charity, but Neville is genuinely just a nice person who cares about the people. The NHS Staying at his hotels, the fact he understands through Salford ownership and his hands on day to day with the people he knows what football means to communities.

It’s not a knock on Carragher, but it’s clear he’s not quite as intelligent as Neville, but it means more to Neville and he’s not bothered who he runs up the wrong way. He’s laid into United, he’s laid into Liverpool as the two main perpetrators.

Carragher has brushed the outer layer I. Fear of upsetting anyone at the club.

I like Neville because it’s refreshing to see a non puppet stand up for something we all care about.

Classic bumbling idiot.

He had the perfect chance there to be magnanimous and get people a little bit back on his side, he came out all guns blazing with his wildly misdirected anger.

And the cult are all leaping to defend him now. How predictable

I get that people have chased the bus and booed them today, which is stupid, because the players and Klopp didn’t have any say in this.

I get that he would get Pelted with questions about it. But to lose his mind over T-Shirts supporting equality and fairness (because it doesn’t suit his prerogative) and then laying into Neville over YNWA, is just so strange.
Pick your fights.

And I do not believe for one moment Klopp was not informed of decision this by the RS owners.

Just re-watched the klopp interview and its even weirder the second time round. Seems more annoyed about Gary Neville than a European super league.

The main takeaway from the interview is he wants a ban on Gary Neville singing YNWA. So so weird.

Deflection,

And lies.

Of course John Henry’s people kept him appraised of the situation.

And BTW....the RS have no monopoly on the dirge.

Does that bugger think they own the rights to it or sommat....and that no one else is allowed to sing it or comment on it.

Look at Bielsa's words before that game and compare them to the weak as piss comments of Klopp:

"The fundamental problem is the rich always aspire to be more rich without considering the consequences for the rest. As they gain more power they start demanding more privilege over the rest," he said.

"What makes competition great is the possibility for one of those weak teams to develop, not the big teams playing each other."

That ^^^ Mr Carragher, is "coming out and taking up a position", not the blaming of other club's fans and support for FSG that your manager came out with.
