When you think about it though, they took over after 2005, they had an FA Cup in 2006, CL final in 2007, title challenge in 2009, and then by 2010 they were forced out.

If that constitutes and absolute disgrace then I dread to think how they would have coped under Bill for 20 years.

It's cos they weren't throwing cash about like United, Chelsea, and eventually City were. That's all.

Same thing now really even after breaking all time transfer records for a keeper and a defender.
