And the rest of the FSG stock. Liverpool around 35-40% of their portfolio. Values Liverpool around £2bn which seems a bit high and probably why they are partially cashing out.

There will be loads of takes on this. It will not mean a soending splurge on players, as some will state. Even Pearce, who's very friendly is pouring cold water on it

On the flip, it's good for Liverpool. Essentially Liverpools losses are put onto FSGs balance sheet (so their accounts will not look that bad as a result)- I'm not sure how legal this is in either the spirit, or application of FFP. What it will mean is that the worst pressures of the losses will be staved off (though I wonder if the CL concern and missing out on hadnt been factored in).

Very similar to Moshiri and what he did in the summer. A way of injecting capital to keep the business ticking over. I think it probably strengthens their hand against Klopp to do it their way.

I'd also say, longer term makes any onward sale hard, as theres another party involved now who will want dividends. This will also mean that the club will probably run more frugally to generate that return and increase in value to the business.

So mixed overall. Essentially FSG losing some influence, in exchange for getting them through a short term pinch point.

Either that, or they are signing upemecano, Havertz, Sancho, Werner and Mbappe. Believe what you will!

Looks a decent deal for FSG. I'm sure they're not delighted at losing 10% of equity, and will make them less likely to put money in moving forward, but selling at a sky high price to cover themselves makes sense.

I don't think it makes much difference mate. Lumbers them with FSG for years. That's who gets this money as well, not Liverpool.

I mean it's a bit of an apples and pears comparison, and I think deliveroo are overpriced (are they generating any cash yet?) but it's clear which business has bigger growth potential.

I think the mob whove bought into them are very much about prudent financial spending, and selling players to optimise profit. Probably a move in the direction they are going.

The latest move will want a return. Be it dividends, or a further growth of the value of the company (which only comes through not splurging of big cash).

i can help here, there has been a huge shift from cookie based targeting to cohorts in the last few weeks ahead of a few regulatory changes by google and then in turn Apple, which are both coming. Effectively this will change targeting from the bullseye specific targeting based on history, to "cohort" targeting based on things like contextual information, such as location or the indexing of sites you visit.

In short, previously if you had been looking at a specific pair of cycling shoes on a site, you would be retargeted with them until you buy or they give up, now; they will know you are a cyclist and you will get more general ads, but not the specifics of the size nines as you would be used to
