The only reason why it might be FSG, is that FSG generally gave preferential access to their journalists (and many others) and brought them into the tent. The issue is going to be how long they stay in there.

They had sit down cups of tea meetings with sports Editor of the Echo (and also all the major fan channels too) when they took over the club.I'm not sure if the back channel of communication exists to Henry anymore, but there is a fair bit that goes on.

It was interesting the Echo wrote a fairly damming statement in January before CB's were bought. I found that interesting, its the 1st time I remember them turning on FSG in that way.

You're right though, if they get a sense of a big anti-FSg movement they will plug into it for clicks and buys.

Dont forget the Premier League is a big draw for a manager, but this summer there are no real good jobs going, Spurs or Arsenal maybe but not certain, if Liverpool are looking they will have the pick of managers who want to come to this league from Europe, they will end up with someone from out there, hopfully a rubbish one!!
