ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Hang on it's the biggest football trophy on the planet, how come I didn't know it was even on, I always look forward to seeing such huge clubs as alshawaddywaddy and tigresanal .
What it shows is that nobody gives a flying one about it. I would love to win the League and Champions League but I would care not a jot about the Community Shield, the game between Champions League and Europa Cup winners or the World Club Champions. Games and tin-pot trophies for the sake of it.

I'm not going to get all hypocritical now and start saying how desperately sad I am for poor Jurgen. Because I'm not, frankly. I don't know the man, so why should I be any more concerned about his situation than any other person who is a stranger to me. Sorry mate, but I lost both of my parents to cancer within a couple of years of each other, and my younger sister in her forties to liver failure not too long before that, and I know Covid casualties in the past year, so overall Jurgen Klopp ain't top of my sympathy card list, to put it bluntly.

What this news will do, however (delivered a month after her death, JUST as the media begin turning on him), will ensure he gets a nice free ride from now until the end of the season. There'll probably be a minute's silence at the weekend, and who in the world, especially Brenda, is going to be so heartless as to give them a kicking now?

As said many times already, he's got form for this behaviour, and if he can't distance himself and behave respectfully he should announce he's stepping back from engaging with the media. Oddly, that didn't happen. For all he knew that reporter could have lost family members to Covid himself.

Call me cynical, but... well, yeah, I'm cynical... He was a massive trumpet before, and he's a massive trumpet now.
Good, honest and well thought out post.

Mentioned the “assault” again on Talksport this morning only this time the journo expanded on it by mentioning Pickford carrying out a similar challenge on Mandujic? in the World Cup semi final “that challenge wasn’t a one off” being the main accusation. Ironically just followed a piece where they were covering social media abuse with Alex Bruce talking about the abuse his dad gets. Then they feed the trolls
It's going to be wall-to-wall in the build up to the derby next week.

I can see it but would be great. If we finished above them an got champions league this season. If they miss out on champions league to us. As mad as it sounds considering they won the league last season. I don’t think they would finish above us again while Carlo is are manager an we are playing Champions league football. We would be able to attract top class players in the summer an they would be skint.
Nah. That's not the way football works.
