But Gab Marcotti, who is very well connected across Europe think it might be 10 years before we get a 100m player again.

I mean I hope hes right. I really like our spot, where the best players in the world go for under 100m. It will be back to 10-15 years ago, where Abramovich and Monsour could make less stretch further than now.

I think City will prove him wrong
They need one if not two top class Centre forwards and Haaland is top of their list
Dortmund will know he is the best available and City have the money
Cannot think of any other player who beats him as an under 25 yr old Centre forward

Just finished listening to that Radio Merseyside phone in. Legions of them tripping over each other to say the words "Not the Liverpool Way".

I smell fear. This is the way it was before they got their dullard CL win against that clueless Spurs team and went on to win the asterisk title.

The sharks will be circling Klopp soon.

I reckon the players in that team have had enough of the club too.

Look at it from their point of view: They're the defending champions. They've had injury problems, yes, but when the transfer window opened 39 days ago, they were top of the league.

The Liverpool boards actions -or lack of- in that window are the equivalent of the board saying to those players 'you know what lads, we're not bothered about retaining the title that you won.'

Can see all their best players pushing for moves come the summer.

Its a while since we seen a good old meltdown
He is a bit like a nasty rash on your leg
Worried at first but once you know its harmless it become just a minor irritation you can live with
I think we should adopt him as our pet kopite
He would be useful to show our children the dangers of joining a cult
A bit like hanging a picture of the mother in law over the fire

Another one to add to the excuse bank for the RS is tiredness.
According to Carragher with his stats, more Liverpool players play week in week out and therefore they are tired and jaded and need 3 players to freshen them up.
