ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I can tell you right now that 100% they are not embarrassed about it. Me and my son were laughing our heads off at the decision and my missus tried to justify it by saying his arm was touched. When we said how does that result in him looking like he's been shot at the back of the legs it's "well I'm not bothered and you just concentrate on your team".

It's never been a case of "thats embarrassing that and he needs to stop"

I'm.telling you now as well, every single media outlet who doesn't call him on his diving means they are specifically told not to mention it because there's no way on this earth that anyone who loves football wouldn't have laughed laughed heads off at that pathetic dive and called him out on it. Their silence (Sky, BBC) is absolutely deafening

Absolutely boils my piss that this actually happened to us, and those cheating rats Salah and mane (and fernandes at United) continually get away with doing far worse, and they aren't even challenged by the infested, biased media.
Sums up the corruption in the league this sorry episode.

Even more irritating that it's wall botherer Dann having the cheek to complain about oumar diving!

Bullens is absolutely correct calling Salah a cheat, he is, he has taken over the last biggest cheats mantle Suarez and no surprise really who they both played for. Salah is a disgrace, we are at times embarrassed by Ritchie going down too many times, but you can see most times he's hurt. Liverpool fans constant answer, "they all do it", doesn't quite explain it. Not the way he goes down like he's been sythed from behind, or the customary scream that goes with it. Yes the referee's, VAR and the FA should deal with it, but simply won't, Liverpool with Manchester United are the ultimate establishment clubs in our Country. What really irks me are the commentators and co commentators especially on Sky and BT, no surprise they are mainly reds and the deplorable, boring dinosaur Martin Tyler, they are absolutely terrified to mention it's a dive, when it is as plain as the nose on your face, in fact they accept it with absolute glee. Carragher vanished again during that incident, obviously embarrassed, but the same bias belter, can't wait to call other teams players for basically the same thing. As long as the media try to brainwash us into trying to accept this cheating, it will continue. Glad they got destroyed last night, utterly deserved it City were and are the better team all over the park and cheats should never prosper.

It's the rs and utd week after week after week. It's ridiculous how many they get away with but the worst thing about it is we aren't surprised. They use VAR when they want, they don't use VAR when they should, they use VAR and still manage to get the decision wrong.

Oliver should have double checked VAR, seen Salah simulate getting shot and pulled him up by saying "you know what, if you'd gone down normally I probably would have given you the pen, but the fact you tried to con me wirh the dive, I'm going to book you for simulation".

But they won't.

Salah, Fernandes, Mane, take the audio off the TV and listen to the screams they do when they barely get touched. It's conning the ref but the refs fall for it.

I actually think Salah is perhaps the worst diver in premier league history. He’ll never be called for it though. Who has been worse? Instead they go on about Andy Johnson or Richarlison, and Niasse was one of only two banned. Amazing how they’re all Everton players.

I think what we really need is a video of all the absurd dives from Salah put together with some nice dramatic war music and sniper sound effects for every dive before the derby.
The media won’t highlight it, the refs won’t take action with retrospective bans and Carlo is too classy to talk about stuff like that before a match.
Nowadays though, I honestly believe social media is bigger than media. A viral video of Salah’s ridiculous dives like yesterday back to back will be impossible to justify and show him as a pure cheat for anyone that doesn’t already know or care to admit it.

I watched a German league game the other night on BT. The tackling was just part of the game, many a time what I now expect to be given as a foul was just ignored or waved on. We have ruined the game in the U.K. and I blame our referees and commentators.......
You make German football sound a more intriguing prospect to watch than our league.

tbh mate it's the same clubs who get away with it time after time. Van Nistleroy would go down like he'd been shot, Gerrard ( who can forget the pen he got away at Sheffield Utd when he wasn't touched, dived, still won the pen and the ref said it was given for intent to foul him ), Drogba was the master of diving, Suarez has got to be up there, Sterling is partial to spending time on the deck.

For me it's a toss up between Suarez and Salah

Theres a video already out there with a whole host of his dives but there's probably about another 30 to add lol

I love the video where it's done like a computer game and he's getting shot for each dive

Also it was unbelievable that Souness was calling for extra investment over the summer ‘I’m sure there would have been a bank willing to support them’. This was the same club that was furloughing its staff in the middle of a pandemic but instead Souness believes they should have been leveraging more debt onto the club to get more players. I thought they’d brought in the greatest midfielder to ever play the game and a forward better than their front three? What’s the problem? Didn’t they also bring in singing of the window Tsimikas?

there already is one I think, it needs updating obviously as he has thrown himself to the ground a few times since.

Edit - Thanks @maccavennie , making me look stupid in front of everyone FFS

That was Tsimikas first PL start yesterday as well. Hes ran Robertson into the ground even though he had an alternative option.

and at a time when Niasse was scoring some important goals for us when we weren't scoring elsewhere and in serious danger of a relegation fight. No agenda though, nothing to see

This is all just coordinated presure for the owners now. Klopp has started the narrative and it will continue.

Unfortuately for them there are a few things ;
1) FSG will not want to sell in the midst of a low moment, they will want to ride it out.
2) There is no money, they are skint
3) Banks will not easily want to lend money, and they may not want to take on debt even if they did
4) Nobody is really interested in buying football clubs now
5) After Newcastle, any big money takeover to a questionable human rights record will not happen. The principle is set
6) If there are any buy outs, it will be worse venture capitalists like Burnley new owners, who will just load the cost onto the club. If they want FSG out, thats their best case scenario now.
