Rubbish again, they won so many games last season when playing this bad. Looks like their luck has finally ran out the victims.

By the way, their Christmas programme was set up for them to do well: 4 games nicely spread out over 16 days. It yielded 5 points from a possible 12 for them.

Compare that with United's Christmas programme: 4 games played in 12 days yielding 10 points (and they had a LC QF against us in the middle of it).

4 very winnable fixtures as well. Palace, West Brom, Newcastle, Southampton with the home crowd at Anfield and the largest amount of rest days of anyone.

City had Chelsea Southampton and us all away from home. The PL probably had this stretch of games down as the moment Liverpool went 6-9 points clear. Shame.
