If they play like they have done since the Derby they will beat city on the weekend, I think city have gotten significantly weaker since they last won the title tbh.
I want to disagree with this so badly but unfortunately I can’t.

The thing about Liverpool is that they never seem to not have an abundance of attacking talent in their squad
From Robbie Fowler to Michael Owen to fernando Torres to luis Suarez
They turned Sturridge into a goal machine at one point
Yes they have had a few flops here and there but they would have stevie g bailing them out. Now they don’t need bailing out because they make sure their front 3 is full of good players. When it was triple s of sturridge sterling and Suarez to the modern day firmino, mane and salah it’s insane how many goals their front 3 score and create. It even looks now like they have found a fantastic replacement for firmino with jota.
And you know when mane and salah eventually drop off in 5 years time they will have already got the next best thing for 100 mil or some academy player who is going to be the next Messi.
It’s never ending for them.

Suarez made Sturridge and Sterling look like world class players, as Firminho and Jota are finding out now playing alongside Mane and Salah. They are always going to have good attacking players, their spend has consistently been in the top 4 since football began in '92.
