ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

View attachment 105406

I don't think moving on from this is on their agenda tbh. Honestly never seen anything like this, it's an injury ffs. It's not an Everton season if one of our players isn't sidelined for 2 years

We've had so many red cards in derbies, most of them pretty soft, this the first time we've actually injured someone. What on earth is that numbskull providing as evidence for "letting things go in the last five years". Oh wait, is he on about when our player got racially abused, so they booed him and trawled through his twitter account when he was a kid and made him out to be the accused.

When my lads were young, I would tell them stories I made up about a character called Freddie the Fish, (who lived in a cave at the bottom of the sea, with sand for a carpet), and they dropped off near the end, (and after school, Freddie's mum made sausages for tea).

Will give Anfield a call. We all need to rally round in these difficult days.

Getting ridiculous. Carlo needs to come out next presser with a litany of all the nasty challenges Liverpool gave done over the last couple of years
I don't think he should. Say nothing hold your own council. We have bigger things on, we have to concentrate on the job in hand. Saturday is going to be a touch game. If we get a ridiculous decision against us, which can be expected, we need to stay focused and not get dragged in to the nonsense. The media love this kind of incident, leave them to it.

The gargoyle deeney weighs in, obviously a red

Deeney knows plenty about Actual Bodily Harm.

I also remember a disgusting two footed 'tackle' at Goodison on Brendan Galloway in front of the Gwladys.

I hope this swung it...

Hahaha there it is, plain as day, i remember at the time wondering why the ref had no balls, why he didn't send him off and why they allow to be spoken to like that.

Well played mr. Coote, he's waited until the last min in the derby "think I'll just draw this squiggly line there to make it offside, perfect. There you go andy, that's the point in having us, I've got a few more years worth of decisions like this in me for the way you spoke to me."

I think all the cry baby antics over the last few days, has put to bed any air of champion persona they had built up over the past couple of seasons.
Teams will look at this and no longer feel mentally beaten before they even step on the pitch.

Even the players who Klopp had playing out of their skin, average to fairly decent players putting in top class performances because he made them believe they were unbeatable, he’s just made them realise even he knows they can’t come in and fill VVD’s shoes.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re still a very good team, but the mentality they showed over the past year or so is what brought them their silverware.

So they're conveniently ignoring the lesbian clattering richy and hamez,
The buckfast ferret trying to be a smartprice suarez on allan,
And mane continuing his attempts to create a hybrid version of the sport combining football and kung fu with his challenge on digne?
Offended by everything ashamed of nothing

Nah, I hope he returns to his former health in a speedy and complete fashion. He is good, and it would be a shame that a player at 29 has to forego the best part of his career due to a reckless collision with a keeper. The over-reaction however is appalling and without wanting to sound like we're playing the victim card when we are the sinners as is their normal modus operandi, we need to be pro-active in nipping this nonsense in the bud.

I think most non-rs supporters aren't impressed with the challenges but also realise the reaction is over the top. Own the mistake and then let them pull at the scabs if they want but it will be showing them up for the ratbags they are.

This is the reality isn't it, I don't want a players career ended but as long as they continue to cry arse about it in the way they have and come up with some of the lunacy we've seen since Saturday I'll continue to revel in it. That's entirely different to being thrilled about the injury itself.

I know Carlo is class personified and wouldn't bother with this sort of stuff but someone like Dunc should come out. It's almost 4 days later and this is still going. Keith bleeding Hackett saying Liverpool would sue Pickford? Wtf

OMG, I have never seeing so much crying over an injury. The media and Liverpool players are making it sound as if Everton is always playing dirty. Wijnaldum said "my opinion is that they take it way too far in the games we play against them." How absurd! I do hope Ancelotti says something during his press conference.
