Typifies “snide” or “sly arse” to me. He reminds me, not so much in appearance but demeanour of the character Greg from Ricky Gervais’ Extras. He was the one who also started as an Extra in the series and got major roles in films by the end of the series.
A sort of slithering , obnoxious toad with a chip on his shoulder who can’t help a belittling comment in the process.
I also agree with posters about Everton should make a statement or have a few former players speak out a bit more, it’s getting a bit much this. I understand being upset, it feels like a agenda to me though, strategic.
