Firstly. It was a reckless heavy and late challenge by Richarlison and deserved a sending off. No question. But it was not intentional and he realised his mistake and did his best, once he was already committed to the tackle, to ensure that the impact with Thiago was minimalized. That's why the contact, when it happened, was leg to leg. Richarlison was probably in danger of doing himself greater injury than Thiago.Now Richarlson needs a lengthy ban.

Secondly, Liverpool were that concerned about the injury to Thiago that they substituted another player after the sending off whilst Thiago finished the match seemingly unaffected by the collision.
Ah ok, so they don't even generalise the number across the whole season. They count it as an absolute. Thats Brilliant.

It's purely down to the over inflated fee they paid. Because they paid so much more than he's worth they've got to try and vindicate it and that's why anything he does is bigged up so much more than a £10m centre back who does the same things. United fans were doing it with maguire to try and vindicate the poor fee.

They want it to stay ingrained on the minds of people so when one of the RS go through an opposition player and injures said player (it will happen) RS player gets sent off, they will bring this out and start screaming of an injustice.
