Troops have been put on standby as mass civil unrest is expected.

The Queen is expected to address the nation live on TV on Monday evening.

MPs will be debating the restitution of the death penalty in the coming days, with Jordan Pickford expected to be the first miscreant to be hanged since 1964.

There will also be a candlelit vigil led by his Holiness Pope Francis, for Virgil van Dijk expected on Wednesday evening, though this may be postponed if the Dutch legend was to pass away before the event.
