Feel sorry for him as a person but as a footballer he’s one of the most arrogant to play in the prem. the tackles he was throwing about on James and DCL early doors is exactly the same sort of arrogance Pickford (who is a bell as well) showed. A different day and it’s one of our players injured yesterday. The media haven’t helped this either, they’ve inflated his ego to such a point with all this nonsense ‘he can’t be dribbled past’ ‘he’s the greatest of all time’ that his arrogance went through the roof. Robertson is the same. It’s a miracle no one had snapped either of them earlier. As it is Everton’s very own ego maniac ended up doing it .A sordid affair all round but maybe he’ll come back from this without the desire to go I it and utterly humiliate people on the pitch instead of just playing the game.
