ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

We tend not to label entire races, religions, creeds or colours on the actions of a few who represent said label tbf mate
My in laws who run the gamut from Mexican, Guatemalan, and Salvadoran and with whom I played many years in an adult league in LA would all agree ...they think it is even funnier if they beat you with cheating...or at least acknowledge that there is a certain kind of guy that thinks that way...and if you think that is not universal, then you've never played games online apparently.

He’s obviously a very good player ... it would be stupid to say otherwise.... but defensively he’s proving to be a liability as was proven today when Grealish skinned him countless times.
There was absolutely no press from them today.
No energy.
Even Salah was tracking back to cover gaps.

Im convinced they are juiced and can’t do it right now.
We will give them a game, but I always think that.

After cheering W.Ham last night I went to bed and woke up to find the world had ended...or so some of the media would have you think
Heads exploding all over the shop*

*Good to see their APLT still has them top

"Prof" wrote one poster " You'll have to start including the bitters soon"

Prof; "no", "I'm going on an international break"

If it was that simple then most clubs would do it
Its like the theory of papal infalability, or the emperor's new clothes...ok while everybody believes it.
Beilsa and Leeds didnt but were unlucky.
Arteta's Arsenal fell for it and played into their hands in the league game

Hopefully this is a genuine Tyson / Buster Douglas moment.

Had a quick look at their forum to see what the knee-jerk reaction was like... here's one post I saw
Without crowds every game is a training game, and weird things will happen.
Loads of people are great at football.
Far less are great at football with 50,000 people shouting all around them.
But those who are extraordinary with 50,000 people shouting at them, with no-one shouting at them, lose an edge..

Those Borg McEnroe finals, Federer Nadal finals, with no-one there, are not as intense.
Same for any sport, the greatest do it on the greatest stage, under the greatest pressure.

The stage, the pressure, that we have excelled at finding players who excel in, has been taken away.

Results like todays, all todays results, will be the norm this season, at least for about 15 games.
The best players play their best to a crowd.
Ken Dodd to an audience of none, Elvis Costello, Jimi Hendrix to an audience of none?

Does Usain Bolt break world records in training or in at the Olympics?

I've enjoyed amazing Liverpool history, joy to my heart, and now I have seen us conced 7 for I think the first time since Spurs over Christmas in 1962? I wasn't born then. But we came back well from that. And 1-4 against Chelsea, first time at Anfield since United in 1968, which again I didn't see, and we came back well from that. And 1-4 at half-time against Arsenal, in the League Cup, lost 3-6 at Anfield, but sang You'll Never Walk Alone, and we came back from that. And today, half-time, 1-4, not as bad.as Villa 76-77 half-time, 1-5, was how that ended, and we absolutely came back well from that.
So tuck your guts in, shake your kets out, and jolly up, because if there is one thing history tells us, it is that we are coming back from this.

Bunch of weirdos, surely could've just said that not having crowds is obviously impacting results/performances
