it’s a rag and despised by pretty much every blue I know . I wouldn’t wipe my behind with it , I’ll usually only look online when I’m sent a link . It’s written by and for the RS , they came up with what they thought was a no lose business model given their worldwide fanbase and proceeded to alienate half the city . Think the last time I actually bought anything Echo related was the Football Echo. Loved getting a Pink Paper when we’d won and the RS had lost.
The Echo has gone seriously downhill though in recent decades. Not just its awful footy coverage, but also the sensational and celeb obsessed news. The fact that Pete Price is a columnist says it all.
