ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I suspect it was more to do with the deal with Nike mate. Probably guaranteed they could sell loads of extra shirts at a higher price point.

Think this is standard pricing for Nike kits, looks like Spurs are the same. Surely nobody pays that for a kit though, get some snide Chinese knockoffs instead if you must deck yourself out in the latest polyester atrocity.

People are going to be cutting back a lot, plus shopping less, so why pay more for an inferior product? The kits are tat. They'll barely cover the deal they had with New Balance.

The owners aren't soft, they've turned the tap off for transfers because the money won't be coming in.

It's not sounding good for them at all. They seem absolutely skint as well and squeezed more financially due to the furlough backlash. They're desperate to get money in like the Lovren fee and save on wages. They've already had to cancel their stadium upgrade.

Once Klopp goes and we get the ground we could finally overtake them on and off the pitch. If only Klopp hadn't gone there. They might be lording it up at the minute but they've no future and they know it. The Manchester clubs are too rich as well for them to stay on top even with klopp.

Hope they stay there as long as possible. All their fans go on about signing Mbappe and Sancho but their owners are mingebags who just want free transfers or academy players. Two years without signing anyone as well, they will be back to Wolves or Arsenal level soon.

They don't even spend what the club makes anymore and it infuriates them because they think they are entitled to have the best players in the world and that all these players would crawl over broken glass to play for them.

If they ever got taken over by someone with proper money I'd be worried but these owners are hilarious, I think they actually love winding them up.

We will just have to suck it up for another couple of years and they will be back at their true level.

You only have to look where they were before Klopp. A mid table team under Hodgson, Dalglish and Rodgers bar that freak season. They'd have to sell Salah to be able to go for Sancho, like they had to sell Coutinho before they could afford Van Dijk.

It won't be long until the sack the board protests return and it gets nasty. Especially when they keep being outspent by little old Everton and see us move into Bramley Moore. Their owners are already sulking over CAS Man City verdict as they know they can't compete.

They'll be no better off than Everton once Klopp goes, only with less money. I can see Klopp walking in a year or two if he's not backed.
