It annoys me when people from outside the city of Liverpool assume that all Scousers are fanatical supporters of LFC. I was in Bristol last weekend (adhering to social distancing guidelines) and most of the people that I spoke to were stunned when I said I didn’t want LFC to win the title. One couple, big Bristol Rovers fans, didn’t even know that Liverpool had two Premier League clubs.

It pees me off as well. On the ITV News tonight the presenter said “The city of Liverpool holds its breath...”
