ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Yep - that was the one. United were in serious trouble but Klopp bottled it.
That game was more than winnable. They sat off and went for the draw.
Same when they came to the Etihad. Klopp set up for the draw and they
only came out after we went 2-1 up. These are the big games that champions win
simply because they have to. Losing the league last season hurt them more than
they will ever admit. It will have damaged them. Their pain is our energy...

Its hurt them to the point where they've kept their flags hanging out their windows still from that European Coca Cola League Cup win they got a couple of weeks back

Scruffy beauts

And in truth, bottle it they did. Once again any negativity against them has been airbrushed from history.
They held a 10 point lead after the new year (City had a game in hand) and they blew it. They came to the Etihad and a win would have put them 10 points clear in total. The league would have been over and done with.
It was after that when Klopp started to be far more cautious. He genuinely did blow it against United. That game was there to take.Champions don't blow 10 point leads. They win the big games when they really have to.
They don't go all cautious at a crucial stage in the season. They simply couldn't get over the line and that is what
champions do. If City had blown a 10 point lead from that exact same position it would have been the biggest bottle job ever in the history of the Premier League. I made these points recently to a kopite I unfortunately met a party and he flounced off in a huff! So all the more reason to shout it from the roof tops...

The last 30 mins at Goodison they ere holding on playing for a draw.

Balls were going out for throw ins and they were leaving them, pulling all the gamesmanship they could out so that they could to play for time.

I'll be honest, I love it that we killed it for them. I was posting long before the season ended that I hoped they won every game left as long as City did so I could revel in this and I genuinely am.

Just listen to this on talkSPITE. This is how much it has damaged them. Loving it!

Its a classic listen (or it's one of your blue boys taking the Mickey!)

Complete lies, everybody knows that City didnt mow the pitch for 3 months to stop the slick hoofball the rs play, plus bringing in wind and snow machines, add not painting the goal lines straight and turning off the goal line technology,DA REDMEN TRÒO CHAMPIUNZ

Your time is nearly up once again friend. You tried gallantly but in the end you just couldn’t resist entering this thread to bat away any criticism of the tricky reds. Hope you’ve still got those Champions League pictures at the ready for your next meltdown.
Think you're mistaking me for someone else again. I'm just a pessimistic Evertonian. Not exactly a rare.

I can't understand why, or even how, people are analysing the results of games that won't even be played for weeks and months ahead. Come on guys, get a life lollollol.
It's unbelievable! I can't be bothered to look at my own team's fixtures in that level of detail, let alone my rivals & THEIR rivals fixtures to boot!!
It's obsessive madness at it's finest.

Why do you care so much about these things???

Because everyone knows that away games after a European match are the most likely opportunities for teams to drop points. So Liverpool our rivals have for two seasons in a row had less of these problem fixtures than their rivals for a trophy none if want them to win. What’s there to question about that?
