ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

With the US Goverment shutdown in full swing and Brexit negotiations totally stalling the world is a very uncertain place. The media have taken advantage of all of this and used it to drive their conspiracy to make a football team from a medium sized city in the UK win the Premier League. Have I got that right?
No, that was Leicester a couple of seasons ago...this is conspiracy to defraud.

Sadly lads, their style of football means they'll always get pens. Playing the high press puts opposition under the cosh and they'll make stupid mistakes/decisions

Just like Utd in 90s & 00s.

Well why are their penalties always dubious at least and just downright incorrect the rest of the time, if it's just a inevitable consequence of the 'high press.'

Why are BBC publishing an article about them every single day? There's still so many months left, yet there doesn't seem to be any other relevant teams in the division now. Everything is about them.

Also weird how city are always playing catchup, RS seem to play before them every gameweek now, so they can never make the gap small.

I had to laugh at the article on the BBC sports website today, with their topic of why fans seem to want the RS to fail.
They've set up a poll for people to vote on and they gave a few examples of why others don't want them to win the thing.
Lots of reasons given, but the one glaring omission was the BBC and it's own seeming obsession that RS need to win the title.

For all those that thought Liverpool wrong to lose against Wolves, the league title really does look doable

Just as avoiding the Europa Cup nightmare by seeing off Napoli 1-0 and coming second in their group avoided fixture problems later, having the FA cup next after that defeat to City fell just right for them, I'm pretty sure going out will prove hugely beneficial to their run in too.

City will be in everything and playing twice, and even possibly three times a week in one week in late season, as EUFA won't allow rearranged league fixtures, including at least one for the league cup final and possibly two more for the FA Cup later rounds, to be played in ANY week which is reserved for the Champions league, including weeks you're not playing.

Liverpool meanwhile will have a whole week to prepare for virtually every game and a relatively comfortable run in.

That's besides games in hand never being equal to points in the bag because of points pressure and fixture congestion.

They had no distractions in 2014 and look how that ended

I hate these more than most.

However I am not stupid, they are winning this.

7 points ahead with much kinder fixtures, less congestion and all the luck in the world.

I think it's time we just accept it and hope we win the cup to take the edge of it.

Breaking news from Anfiled:

Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool fc have expressed an interest in signing Ched Evans in the Jan transfer window. Mr Evans commented that while he was extremely grateful for the interest he could not even consider playing for Liverpool due to the fact that his name is already tarnished enough.......
That sounds like one of those god-awful messages that me arl man receives from his mates via whatsapp and then proudly forwards to me.

The very least we can do is go all out to prevent the Chite from beating us at Goodison (failing that, try and take out as many of their key men as possible), and then lay our tools down when City come to visit. Thankfully the City result is already a foregone conclusion, whereas we'll probably play great against the Chite then lose in the last minute. But we can definitely have a big hand in where the title ends up.

their fans' antics of 1985 were strangely ommitted from that article

Oddly enough I had a dream the other night...we were playing them at Wembley.

Possibly in the Charity Shield?

:)
