ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

You can bet your life amongst their fans that Origi's goal wasn't considered a Liverpool B standard goal.

No papers reported Liverpool’s win over Arsenal’s B team either when they were missing Bellerin Koscielny Monreal Ozil Mkhitaryan and Lacszette from the starting 11. In fact I don’t think injuries were even mentioned once. Just a load of nonsense about the best team in the world flattening one of the top 6.

Imagine thinking that the manager who literally created Tiki Taka and consistently plays the absolute best passing football year upon year has sabotaged his own pitch to stop Milner and Henderson knocking the ball about. Jesus Christ

Liverpool don’t even play through their midfield so the length of the grass is irrelevant. The wind might have bothered them however interrupting all those long diagonals they lash to the wings then chase after.

Almost word for word what I was going to say. City are twice the passers the RS are so the argument doesn't make sense, long grass would aid them as their long balls over the top would hold up more and not skip off the surface too.

You have to hand it to the Kopite media.

The day after getting knocked out by the FA Cup, local TV news and BBC reporting on Pep’s press conference response to ‘grassgate’.
