I just find it completely and utterly bonkers how well they've done...
Still unbeaten after 20 games, conceded less than 10 goals whilst still scoring for fun, and this isn't even the best squad they've had in the Prem era...
It's actually astounding how well it's all come together for them in the last couple of months. Genuinely like some higher power has decided to take over.
Fans said about Fergie's teams when they were walking league, or even Mourinho's title winning teams at Chelsea.Teams are just lying down for them.

God knows how many times i'd seen that last season in regard to City on Reddit/Twitter etc.
Any way interesting that the last 3 summers they have bought a player from a relegated team in Wiljnaldum, Robertson and Shaqiri, Their recruitment from Firmino to this summer begrudgingly has been excellent, their recruitment seems planned precise and coordinated targeting players on the threshold to being elite for decent prices that the European elite ignored as they were not glitzy names, and when they have spent big on VVD and Allison they have fixed glaring holes defensively that have elevated them in that part of the pitch.
Spurs Atletico Dortmund also do the same, All these clubs are huge on analytics in player recruitment and you can look throughout their squads where they have picked up reasonable bargains who's transfer fees would be 5-6 times greater than they paid if they sold them on.
I have to say their DoF is easily in the top 5-6 right now in football with the likes of Paratici (Juve), Monchi (Roma), Zorc (Dortmund), Berta (Atletico) and Campos (ex Monaco and now at Lille).
If they win the title it's not luck or teams lying down for them but excellent recruitment since Klopp arrived that's built a pretty good squad and a refined playing style , if they had luck they would have won those 3 finals, maybe that night in Kiev has given them a determination to go all out and win something with Klopp this season and it looks like they want it to be the League.

I don’t think any team will.. the era of one team dominating for long periods is over.As bad as it will be, if they do win it.I think the people who remember the 70's and 80's had it worse.Even if they do win it, they will never enjoy an era of dominance like that ever again.

Yep, it’s theirs to lose but it will be interesting to see how they handle the scenario you mention.City win tomorrow and beat them on thursday then it's game on,i still have hope.
