ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Getting close to halfway through the season now and Liverpool are doing well TBF. But,(without trying to be arrogant) our squad is deeper with more quality cover. De Bruyne is hopefully returning to full fitness but he hasn't really been missed, such has been the quality back up of Bernado, Gundogan and our own top academy prospect in Phil Foden. Now David Silva is out through injury, he was out this time last year also through personal reasons and we coped well enough, just like we will till he returns. We cannot let injures blight our drive to retain the title, and I very much doubt Guardiola will let the squad lose their focus.

We also have Delph as an attacking midfielder or even Brahim Diaz who looks like he will be going to Real Madrid in January as he cannot get into our midfield. Mark my words, Diaz is a rough diamond that Madrid will polish.

As for our CB's, it's Stones and Laporte as first choice, then Kompany and Otamendi as back up.

Only place we don't have a like for like replacement without downgrading at the moment is Fernandino, who has been our most important player for 3 seasons IMO. But we have played Gundogan Stones and Delph as a makeshift DM.

Let us see how well Liverpool will cope If/when they get injuries to key players. I'm more than happy in the ability of our squad to overhaul them and start to pull clear in the coming months.

Have faith Evertonions;)

I've resigned myself to the fact that the RS will be winning the title this season. I just hope it's a one-off and not the beginning of a Sir Alex Ferguson-esque dynasty.
