Another opportunity for City to slip up gone. Unlucky RS.
My heart breaks for them. Soooo unlucky. I can already hear the gnashing of teeth after today's result.

My kopite mate wouldn't stop telling me that der redmen are back after they smashed Real Fulham FC yesterday.

But as of 2 hours ago I can't get a hold of him. Complete radio silence. It's like he's dropped off the face of the earth.

I really hope he's ok. Might need to check in on him in the morning, the poor lambie lamb.

In a stretch of games that has included Spurs and Liverpool away plus United at home, City have managed a 4 point swing on them. All this without De Bruyne. Liverpool aren’t at their level and even their own fans know it.

Bingo. They won't admit it yet... Although it's so blatantly obvious, that even a blind man and his seeing eye dog can see that the writing is on the wall.

As long as the media keeps calling them 'contenders', they'll happily indulge in the mass delusion because it's all they've got.

And when reality finally sinks in, that's when they revert back to being bitter and resentful. Honestly, they do it to themselves... Season after season after season, and they NEVER learn their lesson. They'll proceed to playing the victim and expect the whole footballing world to feel sorry for them.

If there are any lurking kopites... It's getting freakin' tiresome and boring now. Just for one season... Can you please change the script?!?

We’re on of the few teams get for City to play along with Chelsea who could cause City problems. They’re literally hoping we’ll do them a favour. What’s more likely however is that us and United will end their title challenge int he next few weeks.
United, likely, us, I'm not so sure. Have they lost a single game at Castle Greyskull this season?

I'll be massively shocked if they beat us in the derby for 3 big reasons:

1. The game away at PSG wednesday will mean they have to play a full strength side and they wont be pressing anywhere near as much as they normally do.

2. The pressure of them knowing they have to win to keep the title challenge going will also play heavily on their shoulders.

3. If they were to lose their unbeaten record this season to their local rivals at their own ground alongside the title challenge also realistically ending in one would totally have the fans on their backs.

Massive pressure on them in the derby and I can't wait for it. Just need to hope Sig is fit for it and we dont lose anyone to injury over the international break / Cardiff game.

Imagine a win at the pit and ending their title challenge in one go, would be amazing popcorning.

It's a very long season and it will be very tight at the top personally.

I think City have so much strength and belief to retain their title but I fear as the progress through the latter stages of the Champions League they could take their eyes off the ball and drop a few points but I could see them going unbeaten all season.

Chelsea I think will be City's main rivals for the league, massive experience squad with genuine world class players. Still unbeaten and dropped points but still good enough to push Pep's City.

Arsenal and Spurs have a lot to offer but a fair bit of transition with new manager and stadium will be a distraction.

Regarding THEM, despite shoring some holes in defence which of late have shown weakness, their complete lack of creativity in the centre of midfield is a huge problem, their front 3 has been oddly quiet and Klopp is being questioned by sections. It's all bubbling under, I am praying for a Everton away win and PSG home win then we would really see if they have any character.

I "liked" this, but we all know. It's the hope that kills you.
