Pretty much as expected no RS regalia on show whatsoever. Couple of RS lads in there, all avoiding my knowing eye contact all in plain clothes so to speak.
Chatting to one of my mates in the sauna, when joined by a Sheffield lad. He picked up on my accent and the topic switched to the match.
He was another example that debunks the wide held belief amongst the mutants that Libpool Football Club are the nation's sweethearts. The Sheffield lad couldn't have been more abusive towards that lot if he was a County Road lad born and bred.

What I have learned from my Twitter feed: Racially abusing another player is okay, pulling a player down who grabbed hold of you first needs a UEFA inquest and possible lifetime ban

The reality is World Football fans love the fella for the quality and passion he displays at the very top table of the game. The medals and riches don’t dim the enthusiasm he displays. Football matters to him. I think any club manager in the world would want him in his ranks, I think any supporter in the world would want him in their team.
