ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Walking through Liverpool city centre now is like I would suppose the final 5 minutes of the last ever walking dead . Zombies nowhere to be seen . Sun is out . Families taking selfies . Babies laughing .
Today is a good day .........
Don't be bad on them lads and girls . Be a good Samaritan. Help them take their flags down from outside their houses .

..too late, most of those flags are long gone.

Ramos later sent Salah a message of support, posting on social media: "Sometimes football shows you its good side and others the bad. Above all we are fellow pros. Get well soon, Salah. The future awaits you."

classy touch from ramos, it must be said, that's what i call a proper sportsman.

On another hand "the future awaits you", that's not a cryptic message that salah will be at real next season? They'll best pals within a few months, teammates.

... ouch, i'd hate to be a kopite reading that.

I watched them in warm up on the pitch last night, in a circle doing their stretching. The look on their faces was complete stage fright. They were glassy eyed and silent. They realised at that point the enormity of what they'd stepped into and they froze. Salah looked like he was carrying a pyramid - the hype around him finally weighed too heavily.

It's another case of Liverpool fans and their unrelaistic expectations crushing their own player/set of players...just like in 2013/14 when declaring Rodgers' bottlers English Champions. The Kopites themselves played a massive part in their own downfall.

Klopp also bottled it. He was wound up so tight the players must have sensed his desperation and that will have impacted on their preparation and outlook.

It was a stunning night when all their weaknesses were laid bare and and any stature they and their media have built up crumbled. Sweet as a 'kin nut.
