Liverpool still favourites like. BUT that lot now have a test of nerve on their hands. If City keep it to this gap or reduce it even, they'll place them under a lot of pressure. They defo thought they had this won.

The two games against Bayern could jam their gears up in the PL.

Still theirs to lose but it could have been a very grim 10 point gap to City this evening. They'll try and play it down but the BBC / Henry Winter had one hand on their love lengths tonight in expectation.

Easily, Liverpool are a good team, but they have enjoyed an incredible amount of fortune during their recent run, hopefully now it's going to even up. On the plus side at least we don't have to put up with that freakish, creepy ear to ear manic grin for once.
