As much as I'd hate to see it your statement above makes a good case for this European Super league does it not?

I think it's what all the top clubs want, you see united struggling to get into the CL every year now, they'd love the guaranteed income. But it isn't a game, they'd find it'd be a bit lame after a few years when they don't actually have any driving force of having to qualify.

i know a few who did that in Athens, they organised attack on the entrance, when I pointed out how funny it was that the real fans where left outside crying, their response was, f&%£ing wools.
I have today been talking to a woman in work who goes every game. Home and away, Europe etc. Kop ST holder.
Her and her fella have two tickets for Madrid, and rightly so. ( live down south so a home is a treck too btw. ).
Her hotel has been cancelled so the owner can sell it for more and their journey via Marseille and Bilbao sounds a ball ache.

What struck me is what she said next, and she's a proper Scouser.
" I'm telling everyone that I'm travelling without a ticket and hope to get one near the ground, or else we will have the weirdos trying to get them off us."

I didn't press anymore with what she meant by that, but I certainly can hazard a guess.

Stay classy Liverpool FC.

Been like that forever. I vividly recall being taken to a Liverpool Leeds match, (Big game back then), in the early 1970s with my Dad (blue) and Uncle (red). Uncle had got 3 tickets for the stand somehow. Anyrate, I was an excited 7 or 8 year old, gazing at my ticket, and my Uncle grabbed it back from me, and rammed it back in his wallet when one or two blokes made a bee line for me.
